Job offer : Deputy Director of Video Surveillance (M/F)

In direct support of the Technical and Services Director, the Deputy Director of Video Protection manages the entire activity of the Departmental Supervision Center (quality, performance, procedures, management, partnerships, selection or optimization of tools) by relying on:

• a room manager (daily operations, including schedules)
• a deputy room manager
• a team of 8 operators
• a project manager (facilitator of relations with municipalities: membership, pedagogy, usage support)

The position aims for a “value creation” approach: increasing incoming requests and improving the effectiveness of responses, with a culture of results and service.

Missions

A. Global management of 24/7 operations

• Guarantee service continuity and operational efficiency of the CSD (24/7)
• Structure the organization and operation, relying on the room manager for operations (scheduling, field relay, instructions)
• Manage sensitive situations / incidents: prioritization, escalations, arbitration, feedback

B. Operational quality

• Make re-reading reliable and reduce failures
• Ensure traceability of interventions Identify causes of failure (process, skills, tools, requester relationship) and deploy improvement plans
• Install a “service quality” approach: standards, controls, coaching, retraining

C. Development of usage value and user loyalty

• Strengthen the relationship with internal and external clients: listening, clarity of expectations, support for proper use Identify and activate levers to develop incoming requests
• Make the CSD a reflex: readability of the offer, availability, responsiveness, reliability, trust

D. Robust procedures and operating framework

• Design / update / deploy operational procedures (reception/qualification of requests, prioritization, re-reading, escalation, traceability)
• Secure robustness in a 24/7 environment through business continuity scenarios

E. Management and professionalization of teams

• Manage the room manager, the deputy, the operators and the project manager: objectives, rituals, skills development
• Install a “service + results” oriented management: standards, feedback, progression
• Structure integration, continuous training and evaluations

F. Data-driven management and COMEX reporting

• Define and manage a simple dashboard adapted to the service's priorities
• Produce regular reporting for management and the Union Bureau: activity, quality, risks, priorities, needs

Experience

• Experienced profile in urban security / video protection / supervision (CSU/CSD or similar environments)
• Mastery of roles and interactions in the public sphere
• Demonstrated ability to structure a new activity and drive performance
• Solid experience in operational team management, ideally in a context of flow and service continuity
