Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will support your team by combining field credibility with pedagogical skills. You will guide and support technicians towards new working methods (CMMS, indicator tracking), while ensuring the creation of a relationship of trust and maintaining the existing team spirit.

Your Mission: Putting technology at the service of people and performance. Primarily in the field, you will supervise and facilitate the daily life of a team of 5 experienced and versatile technicians.

• Field management & steering: You organize, plan, and distribute work, providing your technical assistance.

• Production partnership: You work hand in hand with the Production Foreman to smooth out site planning and reduce downtime.

• Safety: You are the guarantor of the safety of your teams and subcontractors (prevention plans, lockouts, hot work/height permits) and instill a 0-accident culture.

• Methods: In connection with the Methods department, you participate in defining site requirements. You support the arrival and use of the CMMS.

• HR: You manage the schedule, track timekeeping, conduct annual reviews, and participate in skills development.

• Daily challenges: You will operate in a demanding heavy industry environment (dust, heat, mechanical constraints, reactivity to unforeseen events). You will manage a solid and seasoned team to support them through this structuring phase: your legitimacy will come from your presence in the field, your technical credibility, and your listening skills.

• Your Profile
• Experience: With a vocational Baccalaureate (Bac Pro) with solid experience, up to a 2-3 year degree (Bac+2/3) in Industrial Maintenance or Electromechanics, you have proven experience in the process industry (quarry, cement plant, paper mill, metallurgy, heavy chemistry).
• Solid Technical Foundation: Your preferred fields are industrial electricity first and foremost, and heavy mechanics. You have good notions of boilermaking/welding and hydraulics/pneumatics. Basic automation knowledge is a plus.
• Managerial Posture: You are a person of the field, firm on safety and the framework, but benevolent, exemplary, and endowed with excellent interpersonal skills. You know your team and know how to use their skills in the right place. You know how to listen, delegate, and unite to support people on a daily basis and see change as an opportunity.
• Team spirit and cohesion: Working in concert with all departments is a success factor in your eyes, and particularly with production.
