Job description
The selected person will join the site's Galenic Development team and will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and documenting pharmaceutical formulations and processes, mainly in injectable forms, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and preparing medicines for clinical trials and regulatory registration.
Main responsibilities
Supervise, organize, and evaluate the development and optimization of galenic formulations and processes.
Develop and test Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), protocols, and GMP documentation.
Characterize the reference product, review scientific literature, and evaluate patents.
Participate in the preparation of medicines for clinical trials and bioequivalence studies.
Prepare technical reports, dossiers, and documentation for the regulatory department.
Analyze galenic trial results and propose formulation or process improvements.
Coordinate and supervise the work of galenic operators, including training on equipment and processes.
Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and equipment calibration plans.
Profile sought
Education: Degree in Pharmacy.
Experience: minimum 2–3 years in pharmaceutical formulation and development in an industrial environment.
Knowledge:
Galenic development of injectable forms
Work in a GMP environment (FDA experience is a plus).
