Job offer : Forestry Machinery Service Technician Grand Est (M/F)

Description: Industrial SME with around twenty employees specializing in the design and marketing of machines dedicated to the maintenance of road and motorway infrastructure.

As part of its development, it is looking for a Forestry Equipment Service Technician (M/F) for the Grand Est region, who will work on heavy construction, green space, and forestry machinery to strengthen its technical team.

Missions: Reporting to the Technical Coordinator, you will work directly at client sites in the North-East zone of France (Lorraine, Champagne, Alsace).

Your main missions will be:

• Ensure preventive and curative maintenance of equipment
• Carry out machine commissioning at client sites
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic breakdowns
• Write intervention reports and ensure reporting of your activity
• Work in a mobile capacity with frequent travel

• Executive status with a 217-day annual working agreement
• Indicative remuneration, negotiable according to experience and profile: €2,600 to €3,200 gross monthly depending on profile
• Vehicle + fuel card
• 1-month integration training: 2 weeks in Italy and 2 weeks in France
• Frequent travel with overnight stays
• Participation in regular internal seminars and events

Profile:

• With a technical background, you have successful initial experience in maintenance on heavy machinery such as agricultural, forestry, construction, or heavy goods vehicles
• You have good technical troubleshooting skills
• You appreciate client contact, have a sense of service, and enjoy working autonomously
• Mastery of technical English is a plus but not mandatory
