Job offer : Field Service Maintenance Technician M/F
The role
Reporting to the After-Sales Service Management, and working in close collaboration with the hotline and sales teams, your main mission will be to ensure the diagnosis, maintenance, installation, and commissioning of their equipment at customer sites.
Your missions:
- Ensure the handling and complete management of your interventions: from planning to administrative closure, including travel management and expense reports.
- Intervene on-site to guarantee the proper functioning of equipment: preventive maintenance, complex troubleshooting, installation, startup, and user training.
- Diagnose technical malfunctions by using available documentation (intranet) and by soliciting internal support (Hotline, Technical Service) if necessary.
- Manage the supply of spare parts needed for repairs, ensuring their proper receipt on-site and providing precise reporting to the relevant departments.
- Actively contribute to the skill development of customer production teams during installation or line reactivation phases.
- Draft and have the customer validate end-of-intervention reports, and update the ERP for the administrative closure of files.
- Act as a local technical relay, sometimes supplementing the hotline with direct technical support to the customer.
The profile we're looking for
To thrive in this position, you need:
- Experience: Bac+2 minimum with at least 3 years of experience in industrial after-sales service on complex equipment.
- Key skills: Multidisciplinary mastery (mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, NC), fault diagnosis, metrology, and technical English.
- Soft skills: Total autonomy in travel, great administrative rigor (ERP reporting), and interpersonal skills to advise a demanding clientele.
