Job offer : Technical Release Management / DevOps Manager – PLM / MES M/F
The role
Actual Talent, Talent Acquisition Partner of the Actual group, the 5th largest player in the French employment market, supports its client Safran, a company specializing in aeronautics and propulsion systems.
Context
As part of its major transformation programs, Safran is deploying a structuring digital continuity program, aiming to ensure end-to-end management of the product life cycle and its production launch.
Launched about 5 years ago and set on a 6 to 10-year trajectory, this program relies on an organization already oriented towards DevOps, with a regular production release rhythm (3 releases per year).
In a context of strong growth for the IT department and major technological transformation, Safran is strengthening its teams and recruiting a Technical Release Management / DevOps Manager.
Missions
Reporting to the digital continuity program, you will work on a strategic scope combining technical, organizational, and international challenges.
In this capacity, you will
Manage and develop a team of approximately 15 people (internal and contractors), divided between Tech Ops and DevOps activities
Structure and industrialize release management and deployment practices within a DevOps logic
Define and implement a high-performance target organization, oriented towards a “factory” model and continuous improvement
Contribute to the setup and development of a competence center in India (Hyderabad), in close liaison with local teams
Organize collaboration between French and Indian teams, ensuring consistency, quality, and delivery performance
Support the upskilling of teams and the structuring of processes
Work in a technical environment centered on PLM and MES solutions, with a priority on 3DEXPERIENCE

DevOps / CI-CD: environment structured around release management and industrialization practices
Profile sought
You have at least 8 years of experience in complex technical environments, with a strong emphasis on DevOps and management.
You have developed solid expertise in
managing technical teams (internal and/or contractors)
release management and CI/CD pipelines
structuring and industrializing DevOps organizations
You are comfortable in international environments and have ideally already worked with offshore teams, particularly in India.
Your ability to structure, lead, and support large-scale transformations will be decisive for success in this position.
Knowledge of PLM / MES environments, and in particular 3DEXPERIENCE, is an asset.
Environment and conditions
Position based in Villaroche (77) or Corbeil (91),
Travel to India to be expected (approximately 2/3 times per year),
Full-time permanent contract (CDI) with 2 days of remote work (after the probationary period)
