The role

Actual Talent Metz, is looking for its client, a specialist in managed services and IT services, for an Operational Systems and Support Manager (M/F) on a permanent contract (CDI).

Within the Operations team and under the responsibility of the Operations Manager, you will hold a key role as an expert manager in team reinforcement. As the first level of intervention on client systems with the support of the infrastructure team, you will lead support activities while providing your technical expertise on a daily basis.

Your main missions / responsibilities will be as follows

Support & SLA management: activity management, compliance with GTI/GTR, and continuous service improvement
Team management: supervision of technicians, skills development, and team leadership
Operational Maintenance (MCO): infrastructure monitoring, 3-2-1 backups, and recovery tests
System Administration & Telephony: management of Windows/Proxmox environments, IP telephony, and automation (PowerShell, Bash)
Incident & Escalation Management: 24/7 crisis management, client communication, post-mortems, and publisher/supplier relations
Optimization & Documentation: reduction of ticket recurrence and enrichment of runbooks/procedures

Remuneration: Between 40,000 and 50,000 gross annual depending on profile and experience

The profile we're looking for

Profile Sought:

Bachelor's to Master's degree in IT
Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure operations or support, ideally at a managed service provider (MSP) or an operator
Proven first experience in team management or technical lead
In-depth mastery of Windows Server environments, Active Directory (GPO, DNS, DFS-R), and Proxmox VE
Solid knowledge of backup architectures (3-2-1), IP telephony (SIP, Centrex), and IP networks (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN)
Mastery of scripting for automation (PowerShell, Bash) and Linux administration. Sensitivity to security best practices (EDR, ANSSI recommendations, ISO 27001 and HDS standards); knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls is an asset
Operational technical English and excellent writing skills in French
