Job offer : Logistics Department Manager (M/F)
The role
Reporting to the Purchasing and Supply Chain Director, you will organize and manage receiving, shipping, storage, distribution, and quality control activities upon receipt, in accordance with established deadlines and while respecting safety, quality, time, and cost standards.
To carry out your mission, you will need to
- o Be a team manager in an operational environment
- o Organize receiving/shipping, storage, preparation, distribution, and goods quality control activities upon receipt;
- o Coordinate the preparation of warehouse exit slips;
- o Process transport requests;
- o Organize stock control, inventories, and participate in supply parameterization;
- o Manage field reporting of disputes and litigation with carriers and suppliers;
o Monitor activity performance and continuous improvement: establish and track dashboards, identify potential anomalies and malfunctions within your scope, and analyze causes;
o Optimize logistics organization: identify equipment and material needs, organize internal transport and external shipping requests;
o Lead teams: distribution, packaging, shipping, preparation.
o Ensure compliance with site safety instructions for personnel and carriers
The profile we're looking for
- o Associate's degree (Bac +2/3) in Logistics/Transport/Supply Chain;
- o Proven experience of over 5 years in a similar position (field manager, logistics manager);
- o Knowledge of just-in-time environments or those requiring very short processing times (receiving, preparation, shipping);
- o Knowledge of the Oracle ERP would be a plus;
o CACES 3 and 6 required, overhead crane experience desired.
You are sensitive to 5S, rigorous, and respect safety regulations.
