Our team of experts specializing in IT and digital recruitment is looking for a Head of IS Urbanization Department on a permanent contract (CDI) for its client, a specialist in the design, production, and marketing of components for the aeronautics industry.

The IS Urbanization Manager acts as the guarantor of the coherence and trajectory of the company's IS. They combine strategic vision, understanding of challenges, and cross-functional influence capacity. They are a key player in the company's transformation, ensuring sustainable alignment between strategy, data governance, and information systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Recruitment context

Within the Information Systems Department, you will join the "Urbanization and Architecture" division as "IS Urbanization Manager".

The main objective of the CDU division is to guarantee the coherence and performance of the IS. It exercises cross-functional authority over the structuring decisions of the IS (architecture, standards, trajectories, prioritization), ensuring their coherence with business challenges and corporate strategy.

It plays a key role in defining and steering the IS transformation plan.

The Division contributes to accelerating value creation by giving teams more autonomy to innovate, while maintaining a high level of control, rationalization, and global alignment.

The Division acts as a transformation accelerator, ensuring a balance between team autonomy and global control of the Information System.

Our missions are as follows

• Steer the IS strategy and transformation plan

• Exercise authority over structuring IS decisions

• Ensure the convergence and rationalization of the IS

• Define and frame architecture and urbanization

• Organize governance and promote autonomy

• Drive value creation and the impact of initiatives

Your main missions / responsibilities will be as follows

1. Steering the IS Urbanization department

• Organize, lead, and steer the team's activity
• Structure priorities and the urbanization roadmap
• Develop the skills of cross-functional urbanists
• Ensure the quality and coherence of urbanization deliverables

2. Definition of the target vision and cross-functional trajectories

• Define and maintain the mapping of business and application capabilities
• Build the target vision for the company's business domains
• Formalize multi-year transformation trajectories
• Identify redundancies, obsolescence, and structural risks
• Steer convergence and rationalization plans

3. Urbanization governance and functional authority

• Contribute to architecture and arbitration bodies (CoArch, ARB...)
• Instruct structuring files
• Validate the coherence of new initiatives with regard to the target vision
• Manage deviations and derogations from the urbanization framework

4. Cross-functional coherence and structuring of repositories

• Guarantee the coherence of common processes and repositories (finance, HR, master data...)
• Ensure alignment between ERP, Data/AI, and other cross-functional platforms
• Ensure the quality and structuring of strategic Data capabilities
• Identify cross-functional coherence breaks and propose correction plans

5. Strategic support and accompaniment of company transformations

• Support Business Departments in formalizing their structuring needs
• Provide a prospective vision on IS evolutions and in particular ERP, Data & AI, and digital platforms
• Contribute to opportunity studies and strategic framing
• Participate in the prioritization of IS investments

6. Communication, coordination, and Business relationship

• Establish a close relationship with Business Departments
• Translate corporate challenges into coherent IS trajectories
• Ensure the dissemination and understanding of the target vision
• Contribute to the institutional communication of the Urbanization & Architecture Division
• Participate in updating the architecture / urbanization portal

PROFILE SEARCHED

Experience and Education

• Master's degree (Engineering school or equivalent)

• Confirmed experience (≥ 10 years) in IS urbanization, functional architecture, or cross-functional IS transformation

• • Experience in ERP environments, industrial businesses, or multi-domain

Technical skills

• Good mastery of ERP environments, industrial businesses, support, and cross-functional Supply Chain

• Understanding of Data & AI challenges and repository governance

• Solid knowledge of urbanization principles (TOGAF, Zachman) and functional architecture

• Ability to build structured IS trajectories

• Experience with governance and arbitration bodies
