Actual Talent Metz is looking for its client, one of the national leaders in material handling equipment rental, as part of a replacement, for a Workshop Manager (M/F) on a fixed-term contract (CDD) for a minimum duration of 2 years.

Presentation: Our client, specializing in handling solutions, as part of a long-term replacement, is looking for a Workshop Manager (M/F) on a fixed-term contract (CDD) for 2 years.

Within a friendly and dynamic team, your mission will be to control, maintain, test, or repair forklifts and handling equipment.

In collaboration with the Technical Operations Manager, you are responsible for managing and leading the technical department, the teams, and the daily operational and regulatory monitoring of the vehicles. You will ensure the proper functioning of the fleet with a constant concern for responsiveness, meeting deadlines, and safety rules.

Your main mission will be the complete management of the entire workshop:

• Manage the maintenance team
• Conduct regular meetings with the team to identify malfunctions and validate the achievement of objectives;
• Resolve human and/or material problems: absenteeism, machine breakdowns, supply regulation)
• Ensure the implementation and proper application of quality and safety regulations (especially regarding the wearing of PPE);
• Ensure the smooth running of work and qualitative and administrative monitoring;
• Assist your team in certain tasks by being the technical reference;
• Supervise regulatory vehicle inspections

Indicative remuneration: 3000 to 3500€ gross/month + 13th month for attendance

Profile sought:

• You have a first successful experience as a Workshop Manager, with forklifts, construction or industrial machinery, heavy goods vehicles (PL), or in industry.
• You are serious, hardworking, and enjoy working within a dynamic team
• You hold a B driving license
