Job offer : Branch Manager M/F
The role
Within a major player in materials trading that has been supporting building professionals, artisans, manufacturers, and local authorities for many years, you will take overall management of a profit center. You will steer the activity under the responsibility of the Regional Management and supervise a multidisciplinary team (sales representatives, warehouse staff, sales administration). You will evolve in a stimulating environment where commercial performance and operational excellence are at the heart of the branch project.
Your main missions/responsibilities will be as follows
Define and deploy the commercial strategy in the sector to develop and retain a portfolio of professional clients.
Manage, lead, and support the branch team on a daily basis to develop skills and inter-departmental synergy.
Manage the profit and loss (P&L) account to ensure the achievement of turnover, margin, profitability, and customer credit objectives.
Optimize stock management, supplies, and logistics flows to ensure optimal product availability.
Ensure the quality of customer service, partner satisfaction, and strict compliance with internal procedures.
Guarantee the strict application of safety rules, prevention, and regulations in force at the branch.
Represent the company in the Grand Est region and develop relationships with economic actors and local partners.
The profile we're looking for
We are looking above all for an engaged personality and a results-oriented managerial profile. Rich backgrounds from B2B or the specialized distribution sector are highly valued.
Experience and Education
Higher education in Commerce, Management, or Building / Public Works.
Proven successful experience in managing a profit center, ideally acquired in the materials trading sector or a similar B2B environment.
Technical Skills
Proven mastery of financial management indicators and P&L management.
Solid skills in B2B sales negotiation techniques and asset management (stocks, customer receivables).
Good knowledge of building and construction products and markets (a major asset).
Behavioral Skills
Natural leadership and proven ability to unite and lead a multidisciplinary team.
Keen sense of customer service, commercial acumen, and results culture.
Autonomy, rigor, excellent organizational and anticipation skills.
Travel to be expected
Regular local travel to be expected in the Grand Est sector (client and partner visits).
Proposed Conditions
Remuneration: Gross annual package of 61K€ to 75K€ (including fixed salary between 51K€ and 65K€ depending on experience + annual variable of 10K€).
Telework: Not applicable (operational site management position).
