Job offer : Thermo-mechanical Engineer (M/F)

You will be directly under contract with our intellectual service company Actual Talent Services, located in La Défense, and report hierarchically to your business manager.

Within the client's Design Office, you will be the technical reference for thermal and mechanical simulation tools and methods. You will develop new products and camera systems in a space environment. You will be involved in thermo-mechanical design, covering the following missions:

• Thermal studies (3D Modules, Camera Systems)
• Choosing and configuring thermal software
• Performing thermal simulations within the product development flow
• Studying thermal dissipation solutions adapted to the targeted environment
• Participating in module pre-study to integrate thermal constraints into design choices
• Integrating space mission profiles (radiation, temperature variation)
• Calculating thermal resistances and creating complex simulation models (nodal or others depending on client requirements)
• Researching new processes in the thermal field

Mechanical studies

• Performing mechanical design: 3D and drafting
• Managing structural mechanical simulations
• Integrating project constraints (radiation, thermal, environmental)
• Drafting or validating technical documentation
• Handling and monitoring external thermal subcontracting
• Managing technical interface with thermal specialists

• YOUR PROFILE
• Master's degree (BAC+5)
• Graduate of a general engineering school or Master's in Physics. You have more than 5 years of experience in a similar position in the industrial sector.

• You have general knowledge of thermal engineering applied to electronics
• You have general knowledge of mechanical design and structural simulation
• You are familiar with space standards and the state of the art in thermal engineering
• You are proficient in thermal software (COMSOL would be a plus)
• You are proficient in 3D design software
• You have a good command of written English (B2/C1) and can express yourself orally in English (B1/B2)
• You are proficient in computer tools (MS Office)

You are rigorous and have an eye for detail. You demonstrate adaptability, autonomy, and curiosity.

With good interpersonal skills, you enjoy working in a team. You communicate with ease and know how to unite internal/external stakeholders.
