Job offer : Mobility Engineer (M/F)
The role
Within the Defense Business Unit and reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work on the definition and development of mobility solutions for special vehicles intended for military and strategic applications.
You will participate in complex technical projects, from the upstream phases to the commissioning of equipment, ensuring performance, robustness, and compliance with customer requirements.
Your main missions
- Analyze specifications and identify key technical requirements
- Contribute to responses to calls for tenders in the upstream phase
- Participate in feasibility studies and the choice of technical solutions in collaboration with the Project Technical Manager
- Design and architect mobility-related systems (ground connection, chassis, powertrain)
- Ensure technical choices respect quality, cost, and deadline constraints
- Perform or manage vehicle dynamic behavior simulations
- Ensure pre-dimensioning of solutions and load distribution (mass balance, axle load)
- Monitor suppliers within your scope to ensure expected performance is met
- Contribute to the drafting of technical justification files
- Write technical documentation (user guides, maintenance manuals, operating procedures, etc.)
- Ensure technical interface with clients and project teams (engineering, purchasing, quality, production, etc.)
- Support the realization, assembly, commissioning, and qualification phases of subsystems
Work environment:You will work in a demanding and innovative environment serving the Defense sector, with occasional travel in France and internationally to meet clients and suppliers.
The profile we're looking for
You hold an engineering degree (Master's level) in mechanics or equivalent, and you have at least 5 years of experience in a Design Office, ideally in the vehicle field.
You have developed solid skills in one or more of the following areas
- Engine and engine environment
- Ground connection
- Chassis and vehicle structures
Experience or knowledge in
- the Defense sector, European road regulations, or the heavy goods vehicle field
will be highly appreciated.
Technical skills
- Proficiency in CAD tools, ideally CREO
- Knowledge in calculation and simulation: ANSYS, RDM7 or equivalents
- Use of PLM software, ideally Windchill
- Good command of office tools
- Fluent English

- Remuneration between €52k and €56k over 13 months, scalable according to profile
