Job offer : Electrical Design Engineer (M/F)

Our client is a major player specializing in the engineering and deployment of large-scale sustainable environmental and energy infrastructure projects (water treatment, waste recovery, low-carbon thermal power plants). As part of a large-scale project, we are recruiting an Industrial Electrical Design Engineer (M/F) to lead execution studies and coordinate a technical team.

Missions & Responsibilities

Reporting to the project's technical management, you are the technical point of contact and ensure the management of execution studies in industrial electricity for complex MV/LV installations.

1. Technical Management & Calculation Notes

• Consolidate and update LV power balances based on consumer lists while integrating project developments.
• Supervise and have your team carry out LV calculation notes, cable sections, sizing of associated protections, as well as cable schedules (High Current
• CFO and Control-Command
• SCC).
• Rigorously verify and validate the overall technical consistency between deliverables: consumer lists, power balances, electrical diagrams for power and automation cabinets, and cable schedules.
• Establish list comparisons and deviation measurements using advanced analysis tools.
• Be proactive in resolving technical issues and studies encountered.

2. Team Management & Coordination

• Supervise and lead a team of 3 people (engineers and designers) on a daily basis.
• Act as a technical reference for your team.
• Set up and lead study checkpoints.
• Actively participate in study meetings, ensure the distribution of produced documents, and ensure technical approvals are taken into account.

Profile sought

Education & Experience

• Holder of a Bac+2 to Bac+5 degree with a specialization in electrotechnics or electrical engineering.
• You have at least 10 years of experience in similar functions in industrial electrical execution studies, ideally acquired on Large Projects.
• Proven experience in management or supervision of a technical team.

Technical skills & Tools

• Expertise in MV/LV distribution, Main Low Voltage Switchboards (MLVS), distribution boards (DB), drive cabinets, automation cabinets, and instrumentation connection (sensors and actuators).
• Mandatory mastery of the NF C 15-100 standard.
• Proven mastery of the CANECO BT software.
• Excellent command of Excel (advanced formulas for lists, comparisons, and consistency checks). Required qualities:
