Job offer : Electrical & Industrial Automation Engineer – Siemens TIA Portal / PROFINET (M/F)

About the companyActual Talent is the European specialist in Talent Acquisition and Assessment for Actual group. We are recruiting for one of our clients, an international industrial company specializing in the manufacturing of technical non-wovens, an Electrical and Industrial Automation Engineer. This is a newly created position, reporting to the Maintenance and New Works Manager, as part of the integration of a new, highly automated production line.

You will be the site's technical reference for automated systems, electrical equipment, and control-command architectures. This is not a maintenance manager position: you will not be responsible for scheduling interventions or managing operational activity, but rather providing technical support.

Your role

• Provide technical expertise on the site's automation, electrical equipment, variable speed drives, and industrial networks.

• Maintain, back up, and update PLC programs and associated systems.

• Perform complex diagnostics and failure analyses.

• Participate in the integration, testing, and commissioning of new equipment, and ensure technical ownership.

• Challenge and validate solutions proposed by suppliers and integrators.

• Guarantee the consistency and interoperability of the site's automated systems.

• Support maintenance technicians during complex interventions and help them develop their skills.

• Analyze the root causes of recurring malfunctions and propose technical improvements.

• Contribute to the site's technological evolution projects, including the deployment of IoT sensors for predictive maintenance.

Profile sought: Essential

• Higher education degree in automation, electrotechnics, or electrical engineering.

• Proven experience in a highly automated industrial environment.

• Siemens S7-300/400 (STEP 7) and S7-1200/1500 (TIA Portal) PLCs.

• PROFINET and PROFIBUS protocols.

• Industrial electricity and control-command architectures.

• Variable speed drives (asynchronous motors, axis control), instrumentation, supervision.

• Professional English.

Appreciated

• MES / PLC exchanges, particularly AVEVA InTouch and System Platform.

• Continuous process.

• Siemens TP1200 Comfort HMI; SIMATIC Unified Panels.

• Management of machine safety on PLCs.

• Integration, commissioning, or retrofitting of automated equipment.

  Conditions: CDI – Position based in Bezons (95) until the end of 2026, then in a new factory in Les Mureaux (78).
