ACTUAL Experts Conduite sur Route is recruiting a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Tipper Driver for one of our major clients in the Public Works sector. Behind the wheel of robust rigid trucks (6x4 or 8x4), you will become an essential link in the progress of regional construction sites.

Your daily life: Rotations, responsiveness, and terrain masteryIntegrated into the heart of the construction teams, your missions require skill and vigilance:

• Precision driving: Operating a public works tipper truck (8x4 or 6x4 configurations) on varied terrain and sometimes soft ground.
• Strategic rotations: Ensuring shuttles and regular supply between plants, quarries, loading areas, and construction sites.
• Material transport: Taking charge of the transfer and safe dumping of various materials (rubble, hot mix asphalt, soil, aggregates).
• High-level maneuvers: Performing reverse maneuvers and positioning at the planer with millimeter precision, in construction zones that are sometimes very narrow or have high co-activity.
• Maintenance & Safety: Strictly applying construction site safety instructions and ensuring routine maintenance of your truck (washing wheels, checking fluids, reporting anomalies).

Job Conditions & Schedule:

• Hours: Work exclusively during the day, aligned with the activity rhythm of the construction sites (no overnight stays).
• Environment: Public Works environment requiring constant vigilance.
• Contract: Long-term temporary assignment.

The ideal profile for this position

Your essentials (prerequisites):

• You hold a valid C license.
• Your FIMO/FCO goods transport certificate and driver card are valid.
• You have initial successful experience driving a tipper truck in Public Works or quarries.

Your technical & field skills:

• Mastery of heavy rigid trucks: You are perfectly comfortable with the size and handling of 6x4 or 8x4 vehicles, both empty and loaded.
• Ease on difficult terrain: You know how to adapt your driving to unstable, muddy, or uneven ground characteristic of public works sites.
• Dumping technique: You master safe dumping protocols (checking ground flatness, absence of power lines or teams nearby).

Your professional qualities:

• Constant vigilance & Responsiveness: Co-activity on site (construction machinery, workers on foot, surveyors) requires your constant attention and strict respect for blind spots.
• Sense of responsibility: Rigorous, you apply site safety instructions without compromise (speed limits, mandatory PPE: helmet, high-visibility vest, safety shoes).
• Team spirit & Communication: You know how to work well with site managers, machinery operators (excavators, loaders), and operations to optimize rotations.
