Job offer : Technical Accountant Damage and Provident (M/F)
The role
Your missions
Within the Technical Accounting and Expenses Department of the Generali Group, you will strengthen the Damage, Provident, and Health team on various and complementary topics (account production & project interventions).
- Ensure accounting production (recording of flows, controls, analyses) and contribute to quarterly closings.
- Quarterly reconciliations of technical flows (accounting/management) as well as the justification of balance sheet accounts for French entities in the SAP/Rappro tool in collaboration with other technical accounting teams and management teams.
- Monitoring of commission flows.
- Contribution to requests made by internal and external auditors.
- Participation in projects: securing specific management perimeters, coordination of accounting integration incident management, support for business projects and system evolution needs upstream of accounting, and impact monitoring.
- You will thus be required to participate in the requirements expression phases and the review of functional specifications alongside IT teams, in testing, and finally in reflection and definition work for target processes.
The profile we're looking for
Profile Sought
We are looking for an experienced technical insurance accountant, capable of intervening on varied subjects combining accounting production, taxation, management of technical flows, and active participation in cross-functional projects.

Education and Experience
- Higher education in accounting, finance, or management (Bachelor's or Master's degree).
- Significant experience (3 to 5 years minimum) in technical accounting in the insurance sector.
Expected Technical Skills
- Mastery of accounting principles related to insurance, particularly in Damage, Provident, and Health.
- Experience in account production and justification of accounting entries.
- Practice of accounting/management reconciliations and justification of balance sheet accounts.
- Mastery of SAP (accounting module) and the Rappro tool.
- Ability to respond to internal/external audits, tax audits, and ACPR requests.
- Solid mastery of Excel; ideally knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Power Query).
