Job offer : Construction Machinery Workshop Manager (M/F)

Actual Talent Metz is looking for its client, one of the national leaders in construction machinery, as part of the development of its site in Pulnoy, for a Construction Machinery Workshop Manager (M/F) for a permanent contract (CDI).

Within a friendly and dynamic team, your mission will be to control, maintain, test, or repair mini-excavators, hoists, lifting equipment, telescopic handlers, generators, and air compressors. You will mainly be in the workshop, but you will also have to participate in repairs at customer sites within 30 km of the workshop.

In collaboration with the manager, you are responsible for managing and leading the technical department, the teams, and the daily operational and regulatory monitoring of the vehicles. You will be responsible for the proper functioning of the fleet with a constant concern for responsiveness, meeting deadlines, and safety rules.

Your main mission will be the complete management of the entire workshop:

• Manage the maintenance team
• Conduct regular meetings with the team to identify malfunctions and validate the achievement of objectives;
• Resolve human and/or material problems: absenteeism, machine breakdowns, supply regulation
• Ensure the implementation and proper application of quality and safety regulations (especially regarding the wearing of PPE);
• Ensure the smooth running of work and qualitative and administrative monitoring;
• · Assist your team in certain tasks by being the technical reference;
• · Supervise regulatory vehicle inspections (technical inspections);
• · Provide maintenance on-call duty;

• Indicative remuneration: depending on the profile, remuneration can go up to 40,000 euros gross over 12 months
• Meal vouchers €8/day
• Bi-annual bonus

Profile sought:

• You hold a qualification in mechanical engineering for HGV/LGV/industrial vehicles or you can justify a first successful experience as a technician on LGV/HGV/construction machinery/industrial machinery
• You hold a B driving license.
• You are serious, hardworking, and enjoy working in a team.
