The role

MAIN MISSIONS

Within the Finance Department, Investment Accounting is in charge of producing quarterly closings under French standards, IFRS, and Solvency II. Your main missions will be:

Tax adjustments for financial assets:

  • Calculate tax adjustments at each accounting closing (quarterly and annual) for derivative financial instruments and underlying assets of hedging strategies.
  • Apply tax principles in line with French accounting standards and in coordination with the Tax Affairs Department.
  • Document methodological changes and their impacts on the accounts, in line with regulatory developments.
  • Ensure the traceability of adjustments and the justification of discrepancies between accounting and tax treatments.

Production of Solvency II reporting:

  • Produce asset reports required under Pillar 3 of Solvency II, in line with ACPR requirements and EIOPA standards.

Internal control and data quality:

  • Participate in internal control (FRR) campaigns and ensure the quality of financial and tax data.
  • Update control processes and narratives based on regulatory developments and feedback from the IC & FRR team.

The profile we're looking for

PROFILE / Skills sought

  • Expertise in the taxation of financial instruments and in French and IFRS accounting standards.
  • Mastery of Solvency II regulatory requirements (Pillar 3).
  • Ability to handle complex data and produce rigorous analyses.
  • Ease in drafting technical notes and summaries for control bodies.
  • Team spirit, rigor, autonomy.
