Job offer : Lighting Design Engineer (M/F)
The role
Missions: Plug into complex technical projects
Reporting to the specialized Department, your main mission is to provide a high value-added technical response to promote Rexel's expertise to our professional clients. As a true in-house reference for your specialty, you will be involved in the design of customized solutions. More specifically, you will be required to:Optimize the processing of expertise requests: You will handle complex costing and electrical study requests. You will use our internal tools and configurators to structure recommendations, layout synoptics, and build customized quotes aligned with client priorities.
Negotiate and package the offer: You will negotiate prices and deadlines directly with suppliers. You will propose complete specific solutions and integrate complementary product and service offers to maximize client satisfaction.
Collaborate in project mode: You will qualify opportunities for turnkey project studies to entrust them to the Design Office. You will work in fluid synergy with the mobile sales teams and manage your entire commercial follow-up cycle in the CRM.
Lead and develop expertise: You will remain constantly updated on new products, market regulations, and technological innovations. As a player in sharing best practices, you will support the technical skills development of internal teams through advice and training facilitation.
The profile we're looking for
Profile sought: A study technician (M/F) with a sharp commercial sense
At Rexel, we value skills, experience, and personal qualities above all else:Education and experience: You hold a technical Bac +2/3 degree or equivalent. You have solid experience (technical expert profile, level 3 minimum) in technical lighting consulting, ideally acquired in a design office, with a manufacturer, or in specialized distribution.
Technical skills: You master costing, the construction of technical offers, project assembly, and market regulations. You are comfortable with digital tools, the Office Pack (Excel), and application software for your specialty (DIALUX).
Personal qualities: Endowed with great rigor and an eye for detail, you possess an excellent team spirit and business acumen. Your interpersonal intelligence, listening skills, and remote sales techniques allow you to conduct a client interview from start to finish.
