Job offer : Industrial Automation Project Manager (Siemens) (M/F)

Missions: Support our industrial clients with their automation projects

Reporting to the Solutions and Services Manager, you will act as a technical expert and point of contact for industrial automation.

Your role is to support our industrial clients (integrators, machine manufacturers, factories) in managing their custom automation projects. More specifically, you will be required to:

• Support clients on-site: Conduct field visits to qualify needs, advise the client, and design personalized solutions in response to their specific automation issues.

• Manage projects & negotiate: Ensure the management of automation projects from A to Z, develop the technical solution, carry out cost estimates, and lead price negotiations with clients and suppliers.

• Provide service offerings: Provide technical assistance on-site or remotely, conduct audits, and lead client training on the products and software of your specialty.

• Be the technical point of contact & partner: Be the preferred contact for manufacturers and share your expertise with internal sales teams to build the skills of the entire network.

Profile sought: An automation expert with a commercial temperament

At Rexel, we value skills, experience, and personal qualities above all else:

• Education and experience: You have successful experience gained in a design office, at an automation integrator, or in design at an industrial company (position not open to recent graduates).

• Technical skills: Mastery of the Siemens environment is essential. Knowledge of mechatronics and industrial automation is desired.

• Commercial sense & personal qualities: You have a real awareness of the commercial dimension of the position (customer relationship, need detection, negotiation). Curious, autonomous, and rigorous, you possess excellent listening skills and enjoy teamwork.
