## **The role**

### Under the responsibility of the Laboratory Manager, the station technician is in charge of

- Ensuring the continuous operation of the station, treating industrial effluents, managing baths, waste, and chemical stocks in strict compliance with QHSEE rules and legal requirements. **Main missions**: Station management and maintenance: regenerating resins, performing water analyses in the laboratory, calibrating probes, and ensuring preventive maintenance of equipment

.-**Effluent treatment and compliance**: recovering sludge, analyzing effluents, and authorizing their discharge in accordance with prefectural decrees; stopping production and addressing deviations in case of non-compliance.

- **Bath and waste management**: draining, cleaning, filling, and readjusting baths according to addition reports; packaging, labeling, and shipping waste while checking and validating Waste Tracking Slips (BSD).
- **Logistics management of chemical products**: unloading and storing chemical products, tracking station consumable stock, and issuing purchase requests on the ERP.
- Organization and work environment -Daily interface role with production, maintenance, the laboratory, the HSEE department, purchasing, and external service providers.

**Work exposed to varied and non-recurring issues, with the possibility of shift work.**

## **The profile we're looking for**

**Education and theoretical background**: General knowledge in the field of chemistry, water treatment, or waste management. Experience: Beginner profile accepted. Required certifications and technical skills: **Holder of CACES 3.** Awareness / certification for ADR (Chapter 1.3). Proficiency in office tools (Pack Office) and familiarity with using an ERP.

**Soft skills and aptitudes**: Operational rigor and responsiveness: quick decision-making in the face of non-conformities and the ability to trigger a line stop in case of an anomaly.

**Pedagogy and communication**: ability to simplify and explain technical interventions to internal teams. Versatility and team spirit: ability to work in collective technical support and to intervene as reinforcement on other site activities.
