## **The role**

### Job Essentials

Join an internationally renowned company specializing in surface engineering. As a CNC Optical Machining Operator/Technician, you will be responsible for the production operations of the optical parts entrusted to you. You will be required to perform CAD/CAM programming, define and set up tooling, and ensure self-inspection of operations. This key position requires rigor, precision, and a strong ability to adapt.

### Your Main Missions

- Review production documentation (work orders, drawings, etc.).
- Perform CAD/CAM programming for the machining of optical parts.
- Define and set up appropriate tooling (machining wheels, bonding supports, saw blades, etc.).
- Perform adjustments and checks according to production procedures.
- Ensure self-inspection of operations throughout your intervention.
- Check the quality of produced parts.
- Perform trials for new manufacturing.
- Propose continuous improvements and participate in solving production problems.
- Train and support less experienced staff.

- Experience in a similar role is an asset, with good knowledge of optical machining processes.

### Technical Skills

- Mastery of manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM and ISO language.
- Mastery of optical control equipment.
- Knowledge of ISO and DIN standards.

- Rigor, precision, and meticulousness.
- Analytical and adaptation skills.
- Team spirit and proactive approach.

### Working Relationships

- You will collaborate with the Quality Control, HSE, and R&D teams.
