## **The role**

Actual Talent is looking for a CNC Machinist/Setter (M/F) for one of its clients.

You will join a production team and work autonomously on the production of individual or serial parts, using conventional and CNC machine tools.

### In this role, your main missions will be to

- Prepare machining operations: raw materials, technical documentation, and tooling;
- Perform the setup of machines, programs, and tools required for production;
- Analyze, optimize, and, if necessary, modify or create simple machining programs;
- Carry out machining operations in compliance with drawings, tolerances, and quality requirements;
- Define and apply cutting conditions adapted to materials and equipment;
- Perform deburring, polishing, and fitting operations;
- Assemble the various machined elements;
- Inspect parts using various metrology tools;
- Identify any non-conformities and alert the relevant contacts;
- Ensure first-level maintenance of your production tool;

Fill out production tracking documents and ensure your workstation is kept in good order.

## **The profile we're looking for**

Ideally with a Bac to Bac +2 qualification in machining, production engineering, or mechanics, you have successful initial experience in a position as a Machinist/Setter, CNC Turner-Miller, CNC Setter, or Machining Technician.

Beyond the diploma, we are primarily looking for a technically autonomous profile, capable of taking charge of the setup of their machine, tools, and programs.

### You are particularly proficient in

- Reading and analyzing drawings and technical documents;
- Setting up CNC machine tools;
- CNC programming languages and/or software;
- Modifying and creating simple machining programs;
- Choosing and setting cutting tools;
- Cutting conditions based on materials;

Metrology and dimensional control techniques.

Rigorous, autonomous, and attentive to the quality of your production, you know how to identify an anomaly and react quickly in case of process drift.

Possession of CACES R484 Overhead Crane and R489 Forklift licenses is desirable for the position.
