Our team of IT-specialized experts is recruiting/searching for its client Safran Transmission Systems, an Engineering 4.0 Manager - R&T Digitalization (M/F). ### Job description**Job introduction** This is a strategic position at the heart of an engineering transformation program, with the objective of building and steering the digitalization roadmap for Research & Technology (R&T) activities in view of future industrial developments. ### Your missions Reporting to the Technical Department, you will work on high-stakes projects aimed at improving the digital continuity of engineering activities. ### In this capacity, you will be required to - Define and steer the digitalization strategy for R&T activities. - Coordinate several transformation projects in liaison with the Design Office, Testing, Simulation, Materials, Data, and IT departments. - Structure the digital roadmap and ensure consistency between the various tools, processes, and data flows. - Support the evolution of PLM environments and engineering tools to improve performance and digital continuity. - Unite the various stakeholders around a common vision and support change in a demanding industrial environment. This position is primarily a role of **steering, coordination, and transformation**, with a strong cross-functional dimension. ### Profile sought**Experience and Education:** This opportunity is primarily aimed at an **engineer from the industrial world**. You hold an engineering degree or a Master's degree in **mechanics, industrial engineering, mechanical design, industrialization, or equivalent**, and you have built your career within industrial environments. Throughout your career, you have evolved into functions related to **engineering digitalization**, process transformation, or the deployment of tools such as **PLM, CAD, MES, or other digital engineering solutions**. You enjoy bridging the gap between professions, tools, and teams. You are recognized for your leadership, your ability to unite varied stakeholders, and to steer cross-functional projects. **Exclusively IT profiles will not be suitable for this position.** Field experience in an industrial environment is an essential prerequisite. The goal is to identify engineers who have gradually evolved into digital transformation functions.
