## **The role**

**Missions**

### Security Supervisor

Expected level for the role, it characterizes the perfect mastery of all aspects related to the safety of property and people. The security manager is at this level the reference for security aspects in the store, and a true liaison between the store and the experts at headquarters.

### *Safety of people and property*

Based on existing documents (procedures, guides, single document, checklist), he/she is entrusted with and/or delegates the following responsibilities:

*Safety of property.*

- ❑ Prepares security commissions in liaison with headquarters experts
- ❑ Signs the security register, ensures the resolution of remarks after security visits
- ❑ Manages fire safety in the store
- ❑ Controls equipment maintenance and record keeping
- ❑ Is ideally qualified to work on electrical installations (TGBT)
- *Safety of people: employees and customers*
- ❑ Performs a "meter by meter" security check and monitors compliance with procedures
- ❑ Controls the layout and indoor and outdoor storage of goods
- ❑ Intervenes on breakage risks
- ❑ Intervenes on risks related to the transport and handling of goods
- ❑ Ensures the implementation and updating of the single document
- ❑ Verifies the training level of teams and the validity of driving authorizations
- ❑ Performs pre-theft checks

❑ Benefits from a delegation from the Employer to perform necessary checks at checkout and with employees to limit unknown shrinkage.

❑ Ensures that personnel respect safety rules (wearing shoes, closing aisles, using machinery and equipment)

In these two areas, the Security Manager will be the contact person for headquarters experts in the field of property and people safety and the layout and storage of goods.

He/she will receive the necessary training and information from these contacts and will be responsible for reporting information.

The Security Manager will have a role of popularizing and explaining the rules to employees so that they are understood and applied.

The Security Manager will formalize written observations in a store register and will establish action plan proposals with urgency levels for the Store Manager who must validate their implementation.

He/she ensures liaison with administrations (police, gendarmerie, fire department, CRAM).

## **The profile we're looking for**

**Profile sought**

You have confirmed experience of at least two years in an identical function, ideally in large-scale retail.

You are a graduate of at least SSIAP 1.

Endowed with natural authority, you know how to impose yourself on your interlocutors, firmly while favoring dialogue.
