## **The role**
MOREAU Magalie, permanent recruitment manager at ACTUAL Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, I am looking for one of my clients, an industrial player recognized for its expertise in the dyeing/textile sector, for a **Dyeing and Laboratory Workshop Manager (M/F) on a permanent contract.**
You will join an industrial company committed to technical excellence, product quality, and its environmental impact. Reporting to the General Manager, you will work in direct connection with the Quality, Maintenance, Finishing, and Planning/Scheduling departments.
### In this capacity, your missions will revolve around the following areas
### Management of the workshop and laboratory:
- Organize, plan, and supervise daily production activity and laboratory tests.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing schedules, deadlines, and the quality standards expected by customers.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze deviations.
### Management and support of teams:
- Supervise and lead a team of about ten production employees on a daily basis with hands-on leadership.
- Support the skills development of operators and ensure versatility within the workshop.
### Technical optimization and continuous improvement approach:
- Conduct concrete projects in the field: color correction and matching, non-conformity resolution, process reliability.
- Optimize industrial consumption (water, energy, chemicals, and dyes) with an economic and environmental logic.
- Be a source of proposals for material investments and organizational adaptations.
The position is a full-time permanent contract, executive status with a fixed-day contract, with an annual gross salary between €45,000 and €55,000 over 13 months depending on your experience and level of expertise.
## **The profile we're looking for**
We are looking for a field professional capable of ensuring the operational management of their dyeing workshop and laboratory, while bringing a real vision of continuous improvement. Holder of a higher education degree (Bac+2 to Bac+5) in dye chemistry, textiles, or industrial engineering with confirmed experience in a similar position, ideally acquired in the textile industrial environment.
- Solid mastery of dyeing processes, colorimetry, and the operation of a textile laboratory.
- Demonstrated experience in managing production teams.
- Good analytical skills, methodological rigor, and a taste for problem-solving in the field.
- Ease with production IT tools (knowledge of ORGATEX software is a real asset).
- Operational professional level of English, able to read and speak fluently.
Beyond the technical aspects, we are looking for a pragmatic, autonomous person with a very good sense of interpersonal skills to act as a link between the field and support services.
