## **The role**

Do you want to join a dynamic team and actively participate in the construction and maintenance of our railway infrastructure? Actual is looking for a **Railway Track Layer (m/f)** in **Angoulême** to start on **November 7, 2026**.

### Your main missions

As a true field expert, you will work on site preparation, laying new tracks, and renewing and maintaining existing rails. Your tasks include ballast filling, switch management, and various manual handling operations using appropriate tools. You will also ensure the safety of the work area as well as the cleanliness and tidiness of equipment at the end of the site.

### Profile sought

You have initial successful experience in the field of **Public Works (TP)**. A valid **Secufer** certification would be a major asset for your application. Your ability to work in a team, your rigor, and your adaptability to variable hours (day/night) are essential to succeed in this position.

### Working conditions

Remuneration is based on the SMIC, with attractive bonuses: 50% for night hours and 100% for Sundays. Join our teams and contribute to the sustainability of the railway network!

## **The profile we're looking for**

To excel as a **Railway Track Layer (m/f)**, you demonstrate great rigor in complying with **railway safety instructions**.

The ideal candidate ideally has initial experience in **public works** and demonstrates a real ability to work in a team on outdoor construction sites.

A **CAP or Bac Pro in public works** type training is highly appreciated, although we value your motivation, punctuality, and initiative above all else.

Mastery of the use of power tools and understanding of **site marking rules** are decisive assets to ensure the quality and sustainability of railway infrastructure.
