About the company

**Actual Talent is the European specialist in Talent Acquisition and Assessment of Actual group, the 5th largest employment and labor player in France.**

For over 20 years and through our 22 offices, our expert consultants by profession (Sales, Engineering, IT/Digital, Support) have been supporting companies and candidates with customized contractual arrangements: CDI, CDD, Interim, Freelance, Transition Management, Service Provision, Work-study programs and internships. Actual is recruiting **for one of its clients** in the field of defense and civil security.

Missions

Participation in the development of the systems platform: development of embedded software (firmware) on an ARM processor equipped with embedded Linux to communicate with an ecosystem of equipment or third-party origin.

**Mission 1: Opening the detection ecosystem:**

\- Creation of communication modules on an existing program written in C,

\- Integration of various communication protocols with third-party equipment,

**Mission 2: Systematization of detectors:**

\- Participation in all stages of definition, design, validation, and production of electronic assemblies and their associated embedded software,

\- Writing code corresponding to the specifications,

\- Testing and validation of software with the relevant hardware,

\- Production launch, software distribution,

\- Feedback, for the evolution of firmware and interfaces,

Profile sought

**Knowledge:**

• Good knowledge of embedded systems,

• Knowledge of common communication protocols for sensors: RS-232, RS-485,

• Knowledge of multi-platform environments: Windows, Linux, MacOS,

• Basic notions of electronics to communicate with electronics engineers to understand needs and constraints,

• Mastery of the digital environment,

**Skills:**

• Mastery of languages: C

• Knowledge of coding best practices for

code maintainability and cyber risks

• Notions of HTML & JavaScript for tests via HMI

• Mastery of IDEs such as VS Code

• Mastery of the Linux environment (target platform for

development)

• Daily use of GitLab

• Use Office suite in a Windows environment
