As the main representative of the Group in the French market, develop and maintain relationships with strategic clients, public authorities, regulatory bodies, and local partners. Ensure the alignment of French activities with the Group's strategy, objectives, and standards.

Identify and lead external growth opportunities in France, particularly through targeted acquisitions, from identifying potential companies to their integration into the Group.

### MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

- Define and deploy the Group's development strategy in France, in line with the Group's guidelines and objectives.
- Develop the annual country budget (P&L, CAPEX, and OPEX) and ensure the achievement of financial and operational objectives.
- Identify and develop organic growth opportunities (new contracts, development of strategic accounts, and partnerships) in the French waste management, metal recycling, and refining services markets, in coordination with the commercial managers of each business line.

2\. Commercial development and operations

- Drive commercial activity by defining the strategy, sales objectives, and sales pipeline monitoring for each business line, in accordance with the country's business plan.
- Retain and develop the portfolio of strategic clients and represent the Group to key clients, professional associations, and French regulatory authorities.
- Supervise the operations of industrial sites to ensure their efficiency, productivity, service quality, and compliance with French environmental and industrial safety regulations (ICPE, operating permits, etc.).
- Lead continuous improvement, digitalization initiatives, and investment projects across all French activities.

3\. Compliance, risk management, and HSE

- Ensure compliance with legal, tax, environmental, and social obligations, as well as health, safety, and environmental requirements across all sites and activities in France.
- Be the primary contact for authorities and control bodies during inspections, audits, and regulatory procedures (DREAL, labor inspection, etc.).
- Identify, assess, and control operational, regulatory, and reputational risks, as well as risks related to business continuity.

4\. Team management and organization

- Lead, unite, and develop local teams, ensuring the implementation of an effective organization adapted to growth challenges and Group priorities.
- Manage social relations in compliance with French labor law, applicable collective agreements, and obligations related to the CSE, particularly in the context of discussions and negotiations with employee representatives, with the support of Corporate functions.
- Promote a culture of safety, compliance, accountability, and performance, in line with the Group's values.

5\. Reporting and coordination with the Group

- Provide regular reporting to the Group's General Management on financial, commercial, and operational performance, with detailed analysis by business line.
- Work in close collaboration with the Group's support functions (Finance, HR, Legal, M&A, HSE, and Purchasing) to ensure the application of the Group's policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure coordination between French teams and central functions, while preserving the operational autonomy necessary for the development of the French market.

6\. Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and external growth

- Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of external growth operations in France, from searching for targets to their integration, including due diligence and negotiations, in coordination with the Group's M&A, Finance, and Legal teams.
- Develop and update a map of external growth opportunities, covering competitors, suppliers, and players offering complementary activities or assets in the waste management, metal recycling, and refining services sectors.
- Contribute to defining acquisition criteria and evaluating the strategic, commercial, and financial relevance of identified targets.
- Lead the post-acquisition integration of companies taken over in France, in operational, commercial, organizational, and human terms, to ensure the realization of expected synergies.
