## **The role**

Our client is a company specializing in the sale, repair, and maintenance of professional kitchen equipment (catering, canteens, hospitality).

### MISSION CONTEXT AND CHALLENGES

To support the growth of its business and allow its lead technicians to refocus on their core skills, our client is hiring a Freelance Estimator / Office-Based Technician. Reporting to the Technical Director (N+1) and working closely with the HR teams and the Manager, you will join a human-sized team in a dynamic and friendly open-plan office environment.

MAIN MISSIONS As a key pivot between field operations and commercial administration, you will transform technical diagnostics into accurate and precise quotes:

- Analysis of diagnostics: Receive and analyze feedback from field technicians (restaurants, canteens, hotels).
- Technical identification: Quickly search for and identify the exact spare part(s) using manufacturer exploded views.
- Sourcing & Costing: Verify availability and pricing with suppliers/manufacturers; identify replacement solutions or equivalents if necessary.
- Quote preparation: Draft or review the complete costing (parts supply, labor, travel expenses).
- ERP Management: Enter the necessary data for sending the quote to the end customer and preparing parts orders.
- Field interface: Firmly and confidently follow up with field technicians in case of incomplete or imprecise diagnostics to obtain the required level of detail.

TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT & TOOLS

- Business software: Cegid (ERP) & Praxedo (technician mobility tool).

Note: Training on internal software is provided upon your arrival by our client.

### MISSION DETAILS AND CONDITIONS

Client Identity disclosed during the interview with the client Status Independent / Freelance Duration 6 months renewable (visibility for 6 months and more) Working time Full-time (approximately 110 days over 6 months) Budget / Daily Rate 200 € / day (adjustable according to profile and experience) Location Near Mantes-la-Jolie (78). 100% on-site presence desired (remote work possible depending on place of residence). Access / Mobility Area poorly served by public transport ➔ Personal vehicle essential. Hours 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (aligned with technician intervention schedules) Profile sought Mandatory skills (Essential):

- Sector experience: Former after-sales technician or experienced professional in the professional kitchen sector (cooking equipment, refrigeration, dishwashing).
- Solid technical culture: Mastery of typical breakdowns and operation of HORECA equipment.
- Technical agility: Ability to quickly read and analyze complex exploded views.
- Interpersonal skills & Assertiveness: Ability to positively assert oneself with field technicians to collect missing information.
- Mobility: Holder of a B license and a personal vehicle (site not accessible by public transport).
- Soft skills: Good mindset, autonomy, team spirit, and ease of working in an open-plan office.
- Availability: Available immediately or quickly on a full-time basis for a minimum duration of 6 months. Assets (Desirable):
- Software: Prior knowledge of Cegid or Praxedo tools.
