**ACTUAL Experts Road Transport is recruiting a Refrigerated Articulated Lorry Driver (M/F)** for one of its clients based in **Saint-Jean-d'Illac**. Join a stable business serving regional large-scale retail, within an operation that values your profession and your rigor.
***Your daily life on the road***Under the responsibility of the Operations Manager, your days are structured around clear and mastered missions:****
- Transport & Delivery: Ensure deliveries and pickups in semi-trailers to stores in the CUB area and neighboring departments, as quickly as possible.
- Cold Chain Management: Rigorously ensure the maintenance of the cold chain and the proper functioning of the refrigeration unit (positive/negative cold).
- Handling & Safety: Load, unload, and secure merchandise by strictly applying dock procedures.
- Digital Tracking: Perform your safety checks before departure and ensure administrative follow-up via PDA (signing receipts, consignment notes, pallet vouchers).
- Regulations: Scrupulously respect European road and social legislation (driving time, rest, and safety).
- Team Spirit: Immediately report any incident, malfunction, or hazard encountered during the route to operations.
### Job Conditions & Rhythm:
- Early hours: Start of service at 05:00 (start early, finish early!).
- Delivery zone: CUB and neighboring departments of Gironde (no long-haul, daily return).
- Departure location: Saint-Jean-d'Illac (33).

- Hourly rate: €12.31 gross / hour + overtime paid.
- Expenses: Meal allowances included.

## **The profile we're looking for**
**The ideal profile for this position**
### Your essentials (the prerequisites):
- You hold a valid CE license.
- Your FIMO/FCO goods qualification and your driver card (tachograph) are valid.
### Your technical & field skills:
- Refrigeration mastery: Previous successful experience in temperature-controlled transport (positive/negative cold) is highly appreciated. You know how to monitor and react to refrigeration unit alerts.
- Driving & Maneuvering: You perfectly master driving a semi-trailer and docking maneuvers, sometimes tight, in large-scale retail.
- Digital ease: Using a PDA to validate consignment notes, signatures, and pallet vouchers is part of your acquired skills.
### Your professional qualities:
- A 05:00 start time fits perfectly into your lifestyle; you are dynamic from the start of the route.
- Regulations & Rigor: Respecting the cold chain, social legislation (driving/rest times), and safety rules is an absolute priority for you.
- Professionalism & Communication: You maintain good customer contact during store deliveries and know how to report issues to operations clearly and quickly.
