## **The role**

**ACTUAL EXPERTS GRANDE DISTRIBUTION Paris is a subsidiary of the Actual group. We are experts in recruiting profiles for food trades. We are looking for **a Butcher (M/F)** for our client located in **Voisins-le-bretonneux (78)****<u>YOUR MISSIONS:</u>****

- Receive, check and store goods.
- Cut, debone, trim and prepare different meats.
- Create butcher preparations (skewers, paupiettes, roasts, marinated meats, etc.).
- Stock shelves and ensure an attractive presentation of products.
- Ensure the quality, freshness and traceability of products.
- Advise and serve customers according to their needs.
- Apply hygiene, food safety (HACCP) and workplace safety rules.
- Clean and maintain equipment, tools and the workstation.
- Participate in stock management and limit losses.
- Respect the brand's procedures and contribute to achieving department objectives.

## **The profile we're looking for**

### <u>Profile sought:</u>

- CAP/BEP Butcher or equivalent diploma appreciated.
- Previous experience in traditional butchery or large-scale distribution is an asset.
- Beginners (M/F) accepted if motivated and trained in the trade.
- Availability to work some weekends and public holidays according to the schedule. **<u>Technical skills</u>**
- Mastery of cutting, deboning and meat preparation techniques.
- Good knowledge of different species, cuts and cooking methods.
- Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).
- Use of butchery equipment (saws, slicers, mincers, knives, etc.).
- Ability to ensure product traceability.
- Knowledge of meat storage and preservation rules.
- Ability to advise customers on products and their preparation. **<u>Your assets:</u>**
