You will be responsible for defining the software product strategy by being involved in the upstream phases of future projects. You will support the development of ongoing projects by defining the best architecture, taking into account constraints of modularity, scalability, etc. ### The team & the project The Software Architect service is composed of about fifteen people; the team is complementary and multidisciplinary: it intervenes on the entire portfolio of the company's products. You will mainly work on mission planning software: integrated into a ground station, they allow an operator to prepare the data necessary for a weapon system to accomplish its mission with the best performance. These operational software programs implement advanced technologies: advanced HMIs in Java (mapping, 3D, augmented reality, video...), complex architectures (middleware, database management, SOA...), and multiple algorithms modeling missile behavior (C++, JAVA...). ### Your main missions / responsibilities will be as follows - Influence customer needs and the resulting software specifications. - Build the architectures of the developed software, taking into account project, cost, and deadline constraints. - Identify opportunities for creating new product lines or reusable items. - Guarantee the homogeneity and consistency of the level of reuse and testability of the defined software architectures. - Support the successful deployment of software architectures within projects by assisting the development team. - Contribute to the test strategy and plans established by the project team. - Provide support during the product integration and validation phases. - Contribute to the technical proposal of quotes. - Communicate and promote your achievements to the technical community. - Participate in the group's software architect network. - Contribute to cross-functional activities through technological monitoring and the definition of free studies in the field. **Start date** ASAP ### Profile sought**Experience and Training:** - You have significant experience in the field of software design. - You master the C++/Java language.
