# **Actual group kicks off construction of its new headquarters in Laval**

**On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, Actual group reached a major milestone in its history with the laying of the foundation stone of its future headquarters in Laval. This event marks the launch of an 18 to 24-month construction project and symbolizes the change in scale of a group that has remained true to its local roots.**

## A collective and symbolic effort

The event began with a collective walk connecting the current headquarters to the future site. More than a hundred employees, joined by members of the Executive Committee, gathered and walked together toward the new site. Upon arrival, everyone laid a hand-signed brick, making a symbolic contribution to the future building alongside partners and local officials.

## A project tailored to the ambitions of a growing group

While the project had been temporarily put on hold a few months ago due to economic uncertainty, leadership chose to maintain this long-term ambition. The ceremony continued with several speeches, notably from the project's architect as well as representatives from state and local authorities: Nadège Baptista (Prefect of Mayenne), Florian Bercault (Mayor of Laval), and Nicole Bouillon (Vice-President of the Departmental Council).

Their speeches highlighted strong messages around collective commitment and Actual group's local roots, praising the journey of a company that continues to grow right where its story began.
